Review: No Heart for a Thief (Malitu #1) by James Lloyd Dulin

January 17, 2023 by Victoria Gross Leave a Comment

As an editor, there have only been a few books where I truly did not have to do much work. This was one of them. I have never enjoyed a debut as much as I enjoyed No Heart for a Thief. His writing skill alone could be enough to carry the book, but he went ahead and wrote a damn good story to accompany it.

Review: The Ten Percent Thief by Lavanya Lakshminarayan

January 13, 2023 by Tom Bookbeard Leave a Comment

Lakshminarayan’s narrative style is playful and crushing in equal measure. This makes for a strong debut and a whole new sense of unease about our overreliance on technology.
