Review: Blood of the Chosen (Burningblade & Silvereye #2) by Django Wexler

November 29, 2021 by Traveling Cloak (Jason) Leave a Comment

Blood of the Chosen is book 2 in Django Wexler’s Burningblade & Silvereye series, and the follow up to Ashes of the Sun (the first in the series, published in 2020 – a book which I also enjoyed. Read that review here). Blood of the Chosen does a great job of upping the stakes and keeping the tension high. I loved this book.

6 Reasons Why You Should Read Django Wexler’s The Shadow Campaigns

October 1, 2021 by Eleni A.E. 1 Comment

Hello again dear reader/listener, today I offer you something a little different from a review. The reason being that I am currently rereading one of my favorite series, and I thought, rather than review the single instalments of it now for FanFiAddict, why don’t I share some reasons why you should read this kick-ass series […]

Review: The Thousand Names (The Shadow Campaigns #1) by Django Wexler

September 16, 2021 by David S Leave a Comment

The Thousand Names was an incredible book one. A Military Fantasy filled with fantastic worldbuilding, compelling and unique characters, mysteries and intrigue that had me hooked, and a plot that had me constantly wanting more. A story that stands very well on its own, while at the same time hinting at so much more to come.

Review: Hard Reboot by Django Wexler

September 3, 2021 by Manny Henri Leave a Comment

I’m typically not a big fan of reading Novellas and prefer longer formats and this month I read 3, and Hard Reboot was a good one. I would have preferred to read this premise in a longer format to get a better picture of the world, characters and main storyline, but Django maintained my interest and kept me turning pages despite the shorter format.

Mini-Review: Hard Reboot by Django Wexler

April 30, 2021 by Traveling Cloak (Jason) Leave a Comment

Hard Reboot is a lot of fun, and I think it is really well-rounded for a novella. I was impressed at how author Django Wexler was able to incorporate so many different aspects of a story into only 150 pages.

A Summer Reread TBR List

April 5, 2021 by Eleni A.E. Leave a Comment

Hello dear reader (or listener), and welcome to my first post for FanFiAddict! I’m rather excited to be here but I also lack a book to review at the moment of writing this – which is no biggie, those will come soon enough – so I thought, why not talk about something I’ve been looking forward to doing for months. A while back I decided in fact to devote my summer to rereading some of my favorite series, which I’ve not properly reread from beginning to end in years! Also, I say summer, but what I really mean is probably starting mid-May once I’m done with my degree. So come along and let me share with you why I am drawn back to these four worlds over and over, hopefully you’ll be intrigued enough to want to visit them yourself for the first time.
