Ryan Cahill is a master at weaving these characters into your heart and making you feel their feelings.  It truly is a masterful skill – and it shines through in The Ice.  I would absolutely recommend (again) this series to anyone who enjoys reading SFF.

Review: Ascendant (Songs of Chaos #1) by Michael R. Miller

August 26, 2023 by Craigbookwyrm Leave a Comment

Ascendant gave me everything I expected from an epic fantasy dragon rider story – all the usual tropes are present, like coming of age, found family, good vs evil, magical bonds – but it felt so fresh and new. The author has taken a tried and tested formula and made it his own.
