2017 came out, guns blazing, and introduced a ton of new voices to the fantasy/grimdark landscape, becoming the “Year of Debuts”. Orbit knocked it out of the park with several phenomenal debuts, a few of which are on my Top Reads of 2017 list, and lead the way to 2018 (which will probably be know as the “Year of Sequels”).
