Cover Reveal: All My Colours by Livia J Elliot

October 22, 2026 by Tim Hardie Leave a Comment

Cover Reveal! All My Colours by Livia J Elliot. The cover is a mix of black, grey and white tones, with grey ink splatters. A dark, psychological exploring isolation, longing and the hope that endures. Releases wide November 18th 2026, ebook, paperback, audiobook

FanFiAddict is delighted to be taking part in the cover reveal for Livia J Elliot’s latest book, All My Colours!

Amidst the shelves of milady Reine lives an enchanted ball jointed doll. She sees the world in washes of colours and blooms of pigments, and captures them in watercolours as a way to understand herself—her permanent rose love for elven stories, her sap green tranquility, and the hansa yellow hope battling the ultramarine blue of her loneliness.

Often, she paints in her atelier, but also en plein air across the shelves—in the forest of earrings and near the teacup towers, between the old grimoires and in the beetle-knight barracks. She used to paint with someone, but not anymore.

The other dolls know little about her, see little of her.

Until one day, milady Reine makes a wish: for someone to see. Will that wish come true?

Part of Elliot’s Tales of the Bookshelves universe, this short 150 page book is a standalone for fans of literary fiction, dark psychological stories and gothic fairy tales.

Preorders begin on 22nd October 2026 on major retailers (Amazon, Kobo, etc) and Elliot’s own shop, where you can also purchase exclusive launch editions. The book releases on all platforms on 18th November 2026.

About Tim Hardie

Tim Hardie grew up in the English seaside town of Southport during the 1970s and 1980s. This was before anyone had even heard of the internet and Dungeons & Dragons was cutting edge. Living in a house where every available wall was given over to bookshelves, he discovered fantasy writers like JRR Tolkien, Michael Moorcock, Ursula Le Guin, Alan Garner, Stephen Donaldson and Susan Cooper. Those stories led him into the science fiction worlds created by Frank Herbert, Philip K Dick and Arthur C Clarke and the cosmic horror of HP Lovecraft.

After training to become a lawyer Tim lived in London for three years before moving to Yorkshire in 1999, where he has worked ever since in a variety of legal, commercial, financial and management roles. His writing began as a hobby in his early twenties and has gradually grown into something else that now threatens to derail his promising career.

Tim writes epic fantasy epic fantasy stories involving complex characters with emotional depth, which will appeal to fans of Joe Abercrombie, John Gwynne and Robin Hobb. Readers who like the writing of Susanna Clarke, Philip Pullman and Scott Lynch will enjoy his gaslamp fantasy.
