And Then There Is The Bard is a silly children’s story about a band of fantasy heroes hoping for a grand adventure. The illustrations are stylized and energetic, accurately capturing the chaos of D&D. Most of the pages have silly little jokes that are so much fun to stumble upon, my favorite being the bard’s bag of dramatic marbles or the fighter losing his mind over the mustachioed teddy bear.

This story is perfect for Dungeons and Dragons loving parents.
