Among The Thorns isn’t something that I would have picked up, normally I’m a reader of epic fantasy. However, this book did let me on. It let me on a love triangle that’s infused with mystery, magic and so much more that’s wrapped inside a web of politics that I dare say this is something amazing, no. It’s more than that. It’s intricate. It’s actually really interesting. I love the worldbuilding in this story.
And the character’s chemistry is what makes this novel enjoyable to read. What makes this world fascinating to discover at every crook and nanny. It’s a testament to the writer who delivered a coherent world that will pull you in. I don’t want to spoil this world, nor its story. It’s actually a fantastic novel. It’s got a world that will hook you in. Medieval castles? Check. Intricate politics? Check. A Romance Angle that will want you to keep reading? Also check.
And its a world where every character has to prove themselves. Be it not being the most powerful sorcerer or not. It’s an amazing way of discovering the story, and I can’t wait to read more.
