Review

Lee C. Conley is back with a bang and is at again by sucking you in with his dark and eerie collection of horror and weird tales, and let me tell you, if you are a fan of horror, then this is for you and just in time for halloween season.

Once More Into The Dark is a collection of short stories with a beautiful dark setting, which enwraps and enthrals you from the very first page, leaving you in goosebumps as we learn the fate and the horrors the characters are put through by Scythe swinging Lee C. Conley.

Each tale will leave you immersed and engrossed in the authors storytelling, as he captures each scene spooktacularly while you turn each page in dreaded anticipation, leaving you on tender hooks, as if there is someone watching you.

Lee C. Conley worldbuilding is fantastic, and his writing is sublime with a wonderful penmanship of delicious prose where each tale brings you to different dark lands, horrors of World War two, witch-trials and big ass sea monsters.

I absolutely loved all these stories, but my absolute favourite was The List. A witch hunt with an excellent twist and an ending that will leave you contented and elated.

If you love your horror bloody, gore ridden, and rich in darkness, then I very highly recommend you check out Lee C. Conley books, the mastermind behind the grimalicious Dead Sagas.
