Review
Boom, David Estes and Ben Galley are back with a bang in this smashing series. I’ve been waiting just over a year to find out where my favourite characters have ended up after the battle of Shal Gara, and damn the two authors have delivered. It was bloody fantastic.
Demon’s Rage is the second book in this new and exciting series, The Bloodwood Saga. The worldbuilding, plot, and characters are brilliant. It’s so fast-paced, action-packed with battles, and the magic elements are excellent with a few twists and turns to keep us on the edge of our seats.
A fantastically new world created by two excellent authors, David Estes and Ben Galley, have come together to bring us a magical world of the forest realm, giant bloodwood trees of the Swathe full of demons, fire, and chaos and big ass humming birds called lancewings for us fantasy lovers to get lost in.
I absolutely love a good collaboration between two good authors who are on top of their game in the fantasy realm. The story flows so amazingly that you can’t tell who wrote what scenes or chapters because it’s so beautifully interweaved together.
In this epic progression fantasy, and after the last book’s ending. Tarkosi Terelta and his inner demon Serisi, the daughter of the demon king, find them selves in exile after the fall of their city of Shal Gara. After defeating the demon king and his minions, Tarkosi and his fellow Scions are on the hunt across the Swathe to hunt down and kill any demons left.
But the threat of demons returning to their world in their hordes bringing all types of monsters and chaos is inevitable as betrayal looms in every corner of the realm. Tarkosi and his companions must convince the rest of the Swathe and the All Mother that the demons are real and that they intend to burn and annihilate Swathe and wipe them out altogether.
Damn, what a roller coaster of read, and that bloody ending. I can’t wait for the next instalment. If you haven’t checked out this series yet, you are missing out. I very highly recommend that you remedy that right now….😁🔥👹
