Would you like to be part of the secret? Here’s an ARC link. Sssh. Keep it between us.

Who are the authors behind the Locks and Keys anthology? I’m glad you asked! It’s time to spill some secrets …
R.A. Sandpiper rasandpiper | Instagram | Linktree

Rachel (she/her) is a twenty-something fantasy author from the south of England. She has a law degree she’s never used despite spending five years in government-adjacent roles, loves games of all kinds (the nerdier the better), and will always dance at weddings.
She’s passionate about creating strong and complex characters in unkind and twisting worlds, but despite what she puts them through, there will always be a heart-pounding romance.
Seán O’Boyle seanoboyle | Twitter | Linktree

Greetings stranger, I’m Seán!
Pull up a stool, for I have a tale to tell thee.
I’m an Irish, London-based writer. My debut fantasy comedy adventure novel “The Ballad of Sprikit The Bard (And Company)” is out now!
I love creating stories. I’ve been doing it ever since I was a kid; whether through scribbling short stories, or making home videos with my toys. I’ve dabbled in the fine art of stand-up comedy, and have about half a dozen discarded sitcom scripts rotting in the forgotten passages of my C:Drive.
But why fantasy, you may ask? Well pull up a second stool, stranger, and I’ll tell ye why, so I will.
My love for the genre began during lockdown through reading epic fantasy and playing Pathfinder (yes Pathfinder, I deserve to be flayed). Through creating fun campaigns, I toyed with the idea of writing some short stories and lo-and-behold, here we are!
My writing is mainly inspired by the sardonic humour of the Fable game series, the bonkers world and emotional core of One Piece, and of course a dash of ol’ Uncle Terry.
(My actual Uncle Terry, not Pratchett. Don’t be ridiculous now.)
L.M. Douglas info.lmdouglas | Instagram, Facebook, TikTok | Linktree

L.M Douglas is a Scottish author based in Edinburgh. Her love for writing began in childhood, but adulting got in the way of her passion until she found time and inspiration to bring her own magical world to life during the COVID-19 lockdowns. She balances her time between managing a busy pub with her husband, taking care of her teenage son, and crafting her intricate tales.

Captivated by fantasy from a young age, I’ve taken that love and have attempted to translate it into compelling stories that blend magic with the mundane. Inspired by George R.R. Martin, Patrick Rothfuss, Joe Abercrombie, Brandon Sanderson, and Tolkien in no specific order.
When I’m not writing, my dog thinks I’m an excellent ball thrower, and my cat thinks I’m a mediocre chew toy, but both take advantage of my availability.
Bella Dunn belladunnwriter | Instagram, Facebook, TikTok | Linktree

When she was a child, Bella believed she could control the wind.
One day, when she was about 6 years old, she read The Snow Queen and fell in love with books. She wrote her first “award winning” story in 2nd class (her teacher used her story as a reading test. Not sure her peers were very happy…)
After that, she never stopped writing, particularly enjoying creating chronicles and short stories, as well as “theatre plays” to perform with her childhood friends.
Bella graduated in Biology and joined a postgraduate school, decided to pursue a career in Science, but her passion for the written word never dimmed and she continued to scribble here and there, drafting several novels and short stories in the past years. Although her preferred genre is fantasy, she dips into other genres as the stories “finds her”.
If you enjoy Bella’s books and stories, consider supporting her writing: buy her a cup of tea!
Tom Bookbeard (14) The Four Beardsmen of the Bookpocalypse – YouTube

I like books, I have a beard; I’m Tom Bookbeard. Former chef, now a podcast host, a writer of fantasy stories about sky pirates and TTRPG nerd.
R.E. Sanders Home | R.E.SandersWrites

Rob is a fantasy author based in the UK. A degree in archaeology and a fascination with British history has led him to create a world of his own in which to spin tales and create adventures.
Bill Adams Bill Adams | Instagram | Linktree

During his collegiate days at the turn of the century, he began to develop his passion for writing, especially within the epic fantasy genre about unlikely heroes. It was there, Bill began to formulate the story that would eventually become Ashe’s unwanted journey and The Divine Godsqueen Coda.
Aside from writing, Bill loves movies and reading, especially SFF B-movies. He likes to know all the useless trivia, like who played who, and what the stories were behind the curtain. He is a master at Scene It. Bill’s few other hobbies include soccer, a good whiskey, a slice of pizza, and growing a beard. It is the little things he enjoys most.
Bill currently lives in the greater Chicago, IL area with his wife, goblin (aka toddler) son, & daughter.
Dave Lawson davelawson | Instagram | Linktree

Dave Lawson is an Oklahoma-based fantasy novelist. He received an MFA in Fiction Writing from The New School in 2009 and published some contemporary literary fiction, before spending several years doing absolutely nothing with his degree. Now, he’s returned to his first love–and what he enjoys reading–fantasy. His first fantasy novel, The Envoys of War, was published in October of 2024. He enjoys writing about conniving rakes and creative liars who do whatever they must to get what they desire. However, Dave’s not like his characters. Pinky swear.
When he’s not writing, he teaches high school English and Drama. He lives with his wife and their dog, Rowena, who is a ball of energy. In a past life, Dave was surely a pirate.
Alex Scheuermann Odyllc Stone

Alex Scheuermann is a budding novelist working on his premier fantasy trilogy The Odyllic Stone. By trade he is an electrical engineer designing semiconductors (computer chips) for autonomous vehicles and factory robots. Alex loves fantasy novels and games, so he decided to create a new magical world for others to enjoy.
