One criminal. One mission. One last chance to rewrite her legend.
Luna Estrada was six when her village was attacked by the alien Tal’ki. Her home was destroyed, her parents killed, and she was dragged off to the deep north.
Eleven years later, she returns to the human settlements, scarred, but alive, the only human to ever walk amongst the Tal’ki and survive. Now wanted as a criminal across the desert bands, Luna’s legend has grown wilder than truth.
When humanity’s crops begin to fail, the military give her one impossible choice: swing from the noose for her crimes… or lead an expedition back into Tal’ki territory in search of the secret that could save them all.
The greatest obstacle they face: The Thunder Path.
For the humans, it’s an inhospitable stretch of land. For the Tal’ki, it is a sacred rite of passage. For Luna, it is a part of her life she’d rather forget.
Among soldiers, schemers, and shadows from her old life, Luna must decide who she can trust, and whether survival is worth more than freedom.
The Thunder Path is a science fantasy western of grit, survival, and cosmic magic—perfect for fans of Brandon Sanderson’s Skyward, Pierce Brown’s Red Rising, and The Mandalorian.
