COVER REVEAL: Rematch of the Titans (Titan Wars #1) by Samuel Gately

October 3, 2023 by David W Leave a Comment

Hey, Sam here.

I’m excited to reveal the cover for Rematch of the Titans and grateful to FanFiAddict for hosting! This is the third book in the Titan Wars series, but it opens a new story (so feel free to enter the world either here or at book #1). Titan Wars imagines a world sitting at a collision point between epic fantasy and pro wrestling, so I’ve always worked to have the covers capture that unique flavor. That means they feature, you guessed it, musclebound giants (called titans) locked in brutal conflict.

But I always want the cover to convey some of the story elements as well. I want readers to recognize they are in for something unique and action-packed, but also engaging storytelling. I love Sean Martin’s illustration for striking that balance. The titan Scott Flawless arrogantly leaps into battle against the Devil-in-Chains, the city of Stillwaters looms in the background, and the pampered elite are the only witnesses to the violence. So take a look, take a chance and jump on in to check out the newest addition to a series that’s been getting a ton of “well, I never thought that would work but I love it!” reviews.

Book Blurb

In a world where a titan is worth only his latest victory in the ring, Scott Flawless is the envy of them all. He’s dominant, fearless, and remarkably good-looking, at least according to him. But his self-proclaimed perfection will be challenged when he is dragged off to a far corner of the Open Nations. Here he’ll battle a new host of dangers as he squares off with a ruthless syndicate run by his late father and an unscrupulous manager with a predilection towards chains. In a city where the dead refuse to stay that way, being Flawless may not be enough to survive.

Rematch of the Titans is part of a complete two-book arc within the Titan Wars series along with its sequel The Jaws of Hell (coming early December 2023). Readers can begin the Titan Wars series with The Headlock of Destiny or dive in right here.

And be sure to come back next month when Sam will be revealing the cover for the second book in this rapid release tag team! Here’s a sneak peek!
