Lavanya Lakshminarayan’s debut novel is absolutely stunning. I gave The Ten Percent Thief a 10/10 rating, and I wish there was a way I could’ve given it more. So getting to sit down with Lavanya to chat about her writing was an absolute dream.
We talked about the book — about what went into writing it and where this amazing idea came from — as well as her writing process, the stories which didn’t make it into the final cut, the way she’d adapt it into a video game, and what she’s working on next.
